I withdraw to my special place

When I need to vent, yell and cry
I keep it all locked up tight inside

When I need to be held gently
I become someone you can't abide

When I feel unheard, I speak quietly
I then stay silent, glowering in quiet sting

When I feel unseen, I embrace invisibility
I cloak myself in obscurity, hiding

When I repress my self, I do no good
I sink low, becoming a recluse; no touch

When I do not listen to myself, I should
